Internet Explorer 4.0 Error

If you encounter the error message "Error Occurred in Secure Channel Support" when attempting to log in, the problem is due to a known bug in Internet Explorer 4.0. Microsoft technical support provides the following work-around to correct this problem:

  1. Select Internet Options under the View menu
  2. Click on the Advanced tab
  3. Under the Security heading, uncheck the PCT 1.0 option (as shown below)

  4. Click Ok
  5. Quit from Internet Explorer, then restart the application
